Mason Korea is going back to in-person education. The campus dean reflects on the hard work that got Mason Korea to this point and what will help to keep it there.

Professor Alice Wrigglesworth is serving as faculty mentor for 1,001 Plays, a global theatrical partnership. Sponsored by George Mason University’s School of Theater, 1,001 Plays connects student playwrights and audiences around the world.

Co-sponsored by NC Soft, Gen.G Global Academy (GGA), Game Culture, and Square One, the Seoul metro-area competition was held to raise awareness on social issues emerging in the COVID-19 era and find solutions through digital media. Mason Korea Computer Game Design majors were among the winners.

Michaela Seulki Kim first arrived at Mason Korea with zero English education background, then founded the school newspaper The Voice, and eventually landed her first full-time job as a Digital Forensic Analyst in Washington, DC.

Campus Dean Robert Matz announced that Mason Korea will be holding in-person courses this spring per recommendations by the Korean Ministry of Education. Mason Korea will adhere to strict COVID guidelines and protocols.
