Mason Korea's Campus Dean reflects on President Washington's vision for Mason and Mason Korea.

Mason Korea welcomed George Mason University President Gregory Washington for his inaugural visit to Mason Korea last week. President Washington’s intensive weeklong visit was packed with key events and meetings with the Mason Korea community and external partners.

Four of Mason Korea’s US-based advisory board members joined President Gregory Washington’s inaugural visit to Mason Korea in late August to advance the development of Mason’s campus in Korea.

Mason Korea officially launched its Industry-University Collaboration Foundation (IUCF) led by Dr. Shannon Davis at an opening ceremony held at Mason Korea’s Global Lounge. President Gregory Washington gave congratulatory remarks and many Mason Korea partners and supporters attended.

Mason Korea held its annual Progress at Play Competition Awards Ceremony at the Mason Korea Global Lounge. At this year’s awards ceremony, President Gregory Washington gave congratulatory remarks on site and presented the first place winners in both the college, and middle and high school categories.

President Gregory Washington signed an MOU with the President of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) at an MOU signing ceremony held at HUFS in Seoul.

Mason Korea officially partnered with NCSoft, a leading game development and supply company in Korea, at a MOU ceremony held at NCSoft R&D Center. President Gregory Washington signed the MOU on site on behalf of George Mason University and Mason Korea.
