Mason Korea looks great this spring with new spaces for learning and conversation.

Mason Korea welcomed nine new full-time faculty to campus for Spring 2023. We are growing, and have so many new faculty we are introducing them in installments.

Associate Professor Roland B. Wilson, Program Coordinator and Faculty Advisor at the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at Mason’s Korea campus, has been appointed as an Advisor on the Board of Directors of the US-Korea Alliance Foundation headquartered in Virginia.

Mason Korea welcomed its largest new class to date at the Spring 2023 New Student Convocation held at the Incheon Global Campus Auditorium. The university’s enrollment has continuously increased since its opening in 2014, with a record breaking 193 new students this spring, up 45% from last year.

Hyunwoo Jo, a sophomore global affairs major, and a team of Mason Korea students participated in the Last Mile Delivery Living Lab Season 2 program organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT).

Jae Heung Lee's time at George Mason University opened up new doors and experiences, and launched him on a career path in Korea's Ministry of Labor.

This spring, Mason Korea welcomed Angela Kang as its new Associate Dean of University Life. With nearly 20 years of experience as a student affairs professional, Kang has extensive experience in residence life, student activities, first year experience, new student programs, and student conduct.

Mason Korea began the month of March with an online panel discussion, “Author, Woman of Color,” featuring Professors Alexia Arthurs and Kyoko Mori in celebration of Black History and Women's History months.
