Section Information for Spring 2026

This course explores the Korean language at an intermediate level. Students must have completed Korean 201 to enroll in this course. In this class, students will develop essential communication skills for engaging in daily conversations and will learn more complex grammar, including verbal connectives, causal connectives, adjectives, commands, comparisons, negations, suggestions, and obligation forms. Additionally, students will enhance their reading and writing abilities, although the course will emphasize speaking and listening skills. Alongside language instruction, students will gain insights into everyday cultural practices in Korea through the textbook and other materials provided by the instructor. The course will include video clips that help students understand the context in which key expressions are used, as well as the cultural background. For a class project, students will create a video in which they can write their own script and practice until they sound natural. The class will be conducted in Korean.
