For students with no prior experience studying Chinese. Development of oral, interpretive, and written language skills in Chinese through exposure to authentic texts and multimedia, vocabulary and grammar-building activities, communicative tasks, and cultural projects. Notes: CHIN 101 and CHIN 102 must be taken in sequence. CHIN 110 is the combination of CHIN 101 and CHIN 102. Offered by Modern & Classical Languages. Limited to three attempts. Equivalent to CHIN 109, CHIN 110.
