This course offers a broad introduction to core conflict resolution methods and the ethical foundations of practice. Students develop skills in active listening, negotiation, facilitation, mediation, and conflict coaching, applying them through structured exercises and case scenarios. Third party roles—including mediator, facilitator, and intervener—are explored with attention to boundaries, responsibilities, and cultural context. A key component is reflective practice, emphasizing self awareness, learning through experience, positionality, and ethical engagement. Students leave with a stronger understanding of intervention processes and practical tools for constructive conflict work. Offered by Conflict Analysis & Resolution. Limited to three attempts.
