Covers computational techniques for solving science, engineering problems. Develops algorithms to treat typical problems in applications, emphasizing types of data encountered in practice. Covers theoretical development as well as implementation, efficiency, and accuracy issues in using algorithms and interpreting results. When applicable, uses computer graphical techniques to enhance interpretation. Offered by Computational & Data Sciences. May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Prerequisite: MATH 203 and 214 or equivalent, CDS 251 or CSI 501 or equivalent.
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Junior Plus, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.

Enrollment is limited to Graduate, Non-Degree or Undergraduate level students.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
