As the pace and scale of human impacts on Earth’s natural systems continue to increase, there is growing importance in understanding and quantifying the implications of these accelerating changes for human health. Throughout this course, we will study ‘Planetary Health’ which addresses the human health impacts of accelerating environmental change through interdisciplinary approaches including environmental science, political science, and public health. Offered by Environmental Science & Policy. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: EVPP 301/BIOL 308 or BIOL 305/306 or EVPP 305/306 or BIOL/EVPP 318 and 60 credit hours; or Instructor’s permission.
