Examines the contrast between international and domestic law and the relationship between world politics and international law. Focuses on issues such as use of force, human rights, environment, international trade and diplomacy. Explores philosophical groundings, and the role of multilateral institutions and international tribunals in anchoring the international system.Offered by Schar Govt/International Affrs. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: GOVT 132, 133.
