Beach Cleanup

We are excited to invite you to participate in our annual Beach Cleanup Day on May 13 at 8:30 AM. We will meet in front of IGC Gate 2. As an environmentally conscious community, we believe it is our responsibility to take care of our local beaches and preserve them to protect the marine life. The cleanup will take place in one of the beach areas in Yeongjong island, where we will work together to pick up litter, debris and other pollutants. It's a great opportunity to make a positive impact on our environment, meet new people, and enjoy the beautiful beach scenery. We are inviting Utah University and Ghent University to join us too!

We will provide all the necessary cleanup materials, including gloves, trash bags, and safety vests. However, we encourage you to bring sunscreen, water, and snacks for yourself. Roundtrip transportation, and travel insurance will be also covered. We will also provide lunch to all participants after we return to campus.
