Field Trip to DMZ

Trail to Peace and Unifocation

Wednesday, September 20, 2023 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM KST
Mason Korea (119 Songdomunhwa-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, Korea)

Korea Ministry of Unification and Incheon Unification+ Center(인천통일+센터) are inviting students, staff, and faculty members in our community to a 1-day field trip to the DMZ area. This is a wonderful opportunity to take a look at a certain part of Korea that are normally restricted to public.

The DMZ, separating North and South Korea, offers insights into global geopolitics. By exploring this iconic area, we can witness the remnants of a vivid wartime past, reflect on the importance of peace, and gain real-world insights into political dynamics. During our guided tour, we will visit significant sites like the Odusan Observatory, Dorasan Station, and Inter-Korean Transit Office, provoking thought and fostering a sense of camaraderie. This trip presents an invaluable chance for cultural enrichment and personal growth.
