Faculty Workshop on Supporting Student Mental Health

Dear Faculty,

We are pleased to invite you to a workshop on Supporting Student Mental Health, designed to help faculty recognize and respond effectively to students who may be experiencing emotional or psychological distress.

This session will explore how mental health stigma affects our students, how to identify signs of suicidal risk, and how faculty can provide compassionate support and appropriate referrals to campus resources.

Lunch will be provided to attendees who RSVP.
Please RSVP by 11/25 if you plan to attend. 

Those who have not RSVP’d are welcome to attend, though lunch availability cannot be guaranteed.

Detecting suicidal risk among college students and engaging with them in the moment
Responding effectively and connecting with students to help
