Dr. Gyu Tag Lee, Faculty of Arts & Sciences at Mason Korea and well-known K-Pop expert in Korea, recently spoke at a joint panel called "The Globalization and Cultural Hybridization of K-pop" along with Dr. Crystal Anderson, Affiliate Faculty of Korean Studies at Mason’s US campus, as part of the Conversations at the Crossroads series.

Xinyi "Amy" Zhang is an advanced PhD candidate in George Mason University's Cultural Studies program, the oldest stand-alone doctoral program in Cultural Studies in the United States.

Ten Mason Korea students are serving as tutors of various subjects, including English and math, for multicultural children in our local community.

Last month, Professor Sang Nam, Director of George Mason University’s Computer Game Design (CGD) Program who teaches technology-intensive CGD courses, and ten CGD majors at Mason’s US and Korea campuses visited Gwangju to attend the 2021 Gwangju Asia Content & Entertainment (ACE) Fair.

Last month, five Mason Korea alumni presented at the 2021 Incheon Global Campus Career Fair held on a metaverse platform.
