Danielle Swanepoel
Executive Director of International Relations and Strategic Initiatives
At George Mason University Korea, she leads internationalization strategies that strengthen faculty, student, and institutional growth, with a focus on enhancing global reputation and advancing institutional excellence. Prior to Mason Korea, she served as Executive Dean of Academics at SolBridge International School of Business, where she also contributed to accreditation and quality assurance, international relations, academic planning, and program development. She was instrumental in SolBridge’s internationalization and accreditation efforts, helping the university achieve recognition in QS and THE global rankings, including a top ranking in internationalization in Korea. Alongside her administrative leadership, she taught courses in Business Ethics and CSR, Critical Thinking, Speech and Debate, and Global Leadership, and served as the Debate Coach for several years.

She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy with a specialization in Ethics from the University of Johannesburg, and her research interests span AI and machine ethics, technology ethics, business ethics, and CSR.
