Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs

Jiye is a founding member of our Korea campus and a member of our Office of Academic Affairs. As the director of academic affairs, Jiye is responsible for the daily operations and management of academic affairs at George Mason University Korea. Her responsibilities include preparing courses for upcoming semesters, managing the registration process, and developing academic-related policies and forms for Mason Korea.

Prior to joining us, Jiye worked for many years in the global sales team of Hyosung Corporation’s heavy industries division, where she was in charge of sales and project management of jacking gears for overseas clients in offshore and industrial fields.

Jiye earned her BA degree in English language education from Korea University and an MA degree in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University.
