Mincheol (Michael) Shin is an Adjunct Faculty of George Mason Korea and a growing scholar currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Statistics nextdoor at Stony Brook University (SUNY Korea). He has industrial experiences prior to his academic journey. He developed a fraud-detection model with big data, applied with machine learning in an IT company. And he worked as a risk analyst and a statistician in a bank, prior to his decision of pursuing his Ph.D. Currently, he is also teaching variety of university-level classes at Chungshim International High School.
