Sungyee Kim, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at George Mason University Korea and serves as the Operational Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Seoul National University and a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College. Her research interests lie in industrial organization, law and economics, and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Mason Korea, she was a Fellow at the SNU Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a Visiting Researcher at the SNU Institute of Economic Research. She also held adjunct teaching positions at several universities in Korea.
