Sohyun Park is an assistant professor of Computational and Data Sciences at George Mason University, Korea. She earned her doctorate in geography from The Ohio State University. Her research focused on the socio-environmental change in the Korean strawberry industry. Her research lies at the intersection of environmental science, economic geography, and spatial data analytics. She is interested in socio-environmental inequality in the context of the growing interdependency between places (e.g., linked via food trade and residential migration).
