Yong Eun Kim is a faculty member in the Computer Game Design program, specializing in music and sound in digital media. He is also the Assistant Director of the Korea Serious Game Institute (KSGI). An accomplished music producer and award-winning game audio director, Kim is best known for his work on the video game Lost Ark and popular K-dramas, including Queen of Tears, Crash Landing on You, and Mr. Sunshine. His diverse portfolio spans film, television, games, theatre, and K-pop, with collaborations ranging from a world-renowned orchestra like London’s Philharmonia to a K-pop icon such as IU. His work on Lost Ark was recognized with the Best Technology and Innovation in Sound and Music award at the Korea Game Awards 2019. Beyond his creative endeavors, Kim led YK Music Services Ltd. in Canada, where he published works by talented Korean media composers globally. Yong Eun holds a master’s degree in Music Technology and Digital Media from the University of Toronto and completed his undergraduate studies in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music and in Applied Music at Seoul Institute of the Arts.
