Yong Eun Kim is a faculty member in the Computer Game Design program, specializing in the convergence of sound and interactive technologies in digital media. Serving as the Assistant Director of the Korea Serious Game Institute (KSGI), his academic focus encompasses spatial audio, AI-driven media experiences, and K-Culture–based interactive content.

While Kim is an accomplished audio director known for his contributions to the award-winning MMORPG Lost Ark and global hit series such as Queen of Tears, Crash Landing on You, and Mr. Sunshine, his expertise extends beyond composition to the technical architecture of immersive sound. Notably, his work on Lost Ark was recognized with the "Best Technology and Innovation in Sound and Music" award at the 2019 Korea Game Awards.

Kim’s diverse portfolio spans games, film, and virtual media, bridging the gap between creative arts and advanced technology. He has led international collaborations ranging from the Philharmonia Orchestra in London to K-pop icons like IU. Prior to his current role, he led global media initiatives in Canada, fostering cross-industry partnerships. Kim holds a master’s degree in Music Technology and Digital Media from the University of Toronto, alongside degrees from Berklee College of Music and the Seoul Institute of the Arts.
