This course offers a comprehensive exploration of financial and managerial accounting. Financial accounting is designed to address the needs of external users, encompassing the recording, reporting of transactions, and preparation of financial statements. Conversely, managerial accounting focuses on how a company's internal users, especially managers, analyze, measure, and interpret financial data for planning and decision-making. The course covers key financial accounting concepts such as understanding the accounting cycle and delving into essential balance sheet accounts. Additionally, managerial accounting concepts include cost of goods manufactured, CVP analysis, contribution margin, break-even analysis, and other crucial tools utilized by internal stakeholders.
