This course focuses on the composition, editing, processing, and integration of voice,
environmental sounds, and music within non-linear or interactive game environments. Students
will learn to work with high-definition sound and music post-production techniques, leading to
the creation of immersive environments and gameplay. The curriculum emphasizes exploration
of music composition, sample post-processing techniques, and a look into audio features and
implementation in different game engines such as Unity and Unreal. By the end of the course,
students will gain practical skills in crafting immersive, high-quality audio experiences for
games. Students gain valuable project management, asset management, and team game
development experience within the framework of sound related activities and thinking.
Students will additionally have portfolio examples of working games with their original sounds
and music.Offered by Computer Game Design. Limited to three attempts.
