Positions Available:
- Macroeconomics: One non-tenure track Assistant Professor position with a specialization in macroeconomics.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Economics (advanced ABD candidates with a strong teaching record will also be considered).
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching economics.
- Commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching a diverse, international student body.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience as primary instructors in undergraduate courses—particularly in macroeconomics, financial economics, or international economics

Please note that while Mason Korea is an international campus of George Mason University, this position is specific to Mason Korea. The successful candidate will be required to work at the Mason Korea campus in Incheon Songdo, Korea. This role does not support remote work, and all teaching is at the undergraduate level.
About the Position
The position is teaching-focused, requiring a load of four courses per semester with the potential to teach one optional summer course. Mason Korea offers a teaching release—one course per semester—for candidates who demonstrate strong research capabilities. This is a non-tenure-track, term faculty role that is both renewable and promotable based on performance. A commitment to teaching excellence is essential, especially given that our economics courses also serve non-major students.
The position is at the Assistant Professor level. Applications from candidates with Associate Professor level experience or higher will be reviewed and considered; however, they will be considered for an Assistant Professor appointment. Please note that there are currently no plans to offer the position at the Associate level or above.

George Mason University, Korea, invites applications for two full-time positions in Computational and Data Sciences at the assistant rank, starting in August 2026. The individuals serving in this position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in computational and data sciences, including courses in our Master of Science program in Computational Sciences. Responsibilities:
Minimum qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a field related to computational science and data science
- Experience in teaching courses in two or more of the following areas:
- Scientific computing
- High performance computing
- Scientific modeling/Simulation
- Machine learning
- Natural Language Processing
- Data visualization
- Scientific Databases (or more generally database management)
- Evidence or strong promise of teaching excellence at the college level
- Experience in teaching with and/or using R, Python, Python Pandas, Matlab, Fortran, and MySQL
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing course materials.
- Experience teaching multilingual learners and/or teaching in a setting with a diverse student body

The Antonin Scalia Law School (Scalia Law) at George Mason University Korea (Mason Korea) invites enthusiastic and energetic applicants to join the law faculty at George Mason University Korea. Qualified and accepted applicants for this particular position will join as part-time Adjunct Faculty members teaching Law 104: Property (2 Credits) on an as-needed basis in Scalia Law’s LLM degree program at Mason Korea. The right candidate will have opportunities to grow with the program as we establish a stronger foothold in the Republic of Korea in the coming years.
Scalia Law’s LLM degree program at Mason Korea offers courses in US law that cover most areas of the Uniform Bar Examination, which is designed to assess fundamental legal knowledge and skills of U.S. law.

About the position:
Classes are offered on Saturdays as hybrid courses, which means in-person on the Mason Korea Campus with an online participation opportunity for students. The Property course is scheduled to be taught on Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm, beginning from March 21st through May 2nd, 2026.
Compensation:
The total compensation for the course is US$3,648.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare course syllabus and teach assigned courses at assigned class meetings, based on course catalog description and approved course outline;
- Prepare and objectively grade class assignments, participation, and exams within a timely manner, in accordance with law school policies;
- Maintain accurate, transparent student records;
- Assist and foster student success through regularly scheduled office hours and timely responses to all student communications;
- Adhere to all University policies and maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics; and
- Other duties as assigned by contract and/or by the LLM Program Coordinator or Mason Korea Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs or their designee including assessing course(s) taught for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor or LLM degree earned onsite from a well-ranked United States law school;
- A license to practice law in Washington DC or analogously competitive jurisdiction;
- Active and current practice of private international law in the Republic of Korea;
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills; and
- Well-versed with teaching and administrative software such as Canvas, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other technologies, as well as willingness to learn new technologies in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching;
- 2+ years law practice experience in the United States;
- Experience with multilingual learners;
- One academic reference among the two requested references; and
- A desire to mentor students in both academics and professional arenas;
