Dr. Jaerin Ahn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at George Mason University Korea. She received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an M.A. in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language from Ewha Womans University in Korea. Her research and teaching focus on Korean language pedagogy, curriculum design and development, teacher education, and technology-enhanced language learning. Before joining George Mason University Korea, Dr. Ahn taught Korean at all proficiency levels in both the United States and Korea, including at the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Korean Language Program, the STARTALK Korean Language and Culture Academy, and the Korean Flagship Program.
