Fall 26

On-Campus Residence Requirement

  • As a MANDATORY part of the First Semester Experience (FSE), all incoming Mason Korea students MUST live in IGC Housing, Double Room for their first semester.
  • IMPORTANT: While this requirement is mandatory, room availability is limited. Please note that rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis; therefore, if you apply late, your housing is not guaranteed as we may not be able to accommodate you.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must meet the following eligibility requirements, or they may not be eligible to apply for housing.

  • Enrollment Status: Students must be enrolled in Mason Korea classes for the semester in which they wish to reside in on-campus housing.
  • Please note that if students who applied for housing decide not to be enrolled for the semester, they must inform the housing office immediately.
  • This includes taking a leave of absence or deferring admission.

Important Notice

  • Please check your Mason email regularly, as the Housing Office communicates all housing-related updates via email.
  • Please note that it is the student’s responsibility to ensure they do not miss any emails, announcements, phone calls, or deadlines. Students can be contacted at the phone number provided in their housing application. The Housing Office may call you from 032-626-5025 or 5034 if there is anything to verify during the application process.
  • To be considered for residency in IGC Housing, applications and payments must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late applications and payments cannot be accepted.
  • Please note that the Housing Office will ONLY contact students directly and will neither call nor email parents.
  • If you plan to stay abroad during the housing application period and cannot be reached by phone, please ensure you check your email frequently so we can communicate with you in real time instead of the phone call. Please note that the Housing Office is NOT responsible if you miss our communications and consequently fail to complete your application and payment on time.
  • Special note for parents: Please refrain from making phone calls, as this may delay the administrative process. For inquiries, please contact mkreslif@gmu.edu. We will respond to your email promptly.
