Room Types and Rates

IGC Housing has two residence hall buildings that are divided by room type, single and double, and shared by students from all universities located at the IGC campus.

To ensure the safety and privacy of our residents, IGC Housing is gender-segregated. Each floor/wing is designated for either males or females, and we strictly prohibit entry into areas designated for the opposite gender, in accordance with IGC regulations.

The typical residency period is 15 - 17 weeks, and the rate for a single room is approximately KRW 1,900,000, while a double room costs KRW 1,200,000 per person.

We want to ensure that our residents feel comfortable and supported throughout their stay, so we carefully select students who will positively contribute to our community. If you would like to know more resident selection process, please read the following paragraph.

Check-In Application

Prior to the start of the semester, students will receive instructions, approximately 4 to 5 weeks in advance, on how to submit their check-in applications online. To do so, students can visit the IGC Housing website and follow the provided guidelines for submitting their applications.

The application will offer the following features for students:

  1. They can choose between single and double room types.
  2. They can specify their preferences for roommates and the floor.
  3. They can make the required payment for housing.

When it comes to selecting the room type, it is important to note that availability is limited, and therefore, rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. However, there will be an adequate number of beds available for the residents who are selected. It is essential to understand that due to limited resources, it may not be possible to accommodate all students' preferences.

In general, the payment should be completed during the check-in application process or shortly thereafter. Payment instructions can be found on the check-in application screen. Failure to pay by the deadline set by IGC Housing may result in the cancellation of your residency.

International students are allowed to complete the check-in application without making the payment. IGC Housing will send out payment instructions shortly after check-in. International students have a grace period of 2 months after moving in to complete their payment. Click on the item below and read more about paying for housing as an international student.
