Moisés Rodríguez Hernández is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching in Social and Cultural Contexts at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), his hometown in Spain. His Ph.D. research focuses on developing a tailored Spanish language program for the Korean community settled in Gran Canaria, incorporating cultural aspects of the Canary Islands to address the integration challenges faced by Korean residents. Mr. Rodríguez also holds a MA in Translation & Interpreting from ULPGC, where he has actively contributed as the Spanish teacher for both the International Graduate Students Program and the Winter School. Furthermore, he possesses extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, taking different training courses “Reading Comprehension Development: Spanish as a foreign language”, “New Digital Skills for Spanish Teachers”, “Personal Factors in Teaching Languages” to stay abreast of the latest trends in language teaching. Besides, he is an official examiner for DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) certification, having collaborated with Instituto Cervantes, the leading institutional representative of Spanish culture worldwide.
