From the Director

Welcome to the George Mason University Korea Career Development Center (“CDC”).

Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions you will make in your lifetime. The CDC is here to support you along your journey to becoming “Career-Ready” by helping you to explore majors and careers, find part-time/full time jobs, develop a professional resume, and assess how your values, interests, personality, and skills will pave the way to your success.

While pursuing your undergraduate degree, it is imperative for you to gain professional experience through involvement in student organizations, internships, and experiential and volunteering opportunities. As a George Mason University Korea student, you are able to access both our online and offline CDC job postings to find many different part-time/full-time job and internship opportunities. We also have an experienced career counselor ready to assist you at every step of your undergraduate career. Through our various services and resources, you will develop the most desired career readiness skills that employers from all industries expect from new graduates.

To ensure you are prepared for every step of your journey, I strongly encourage you to begin your career planning during your first year of study at George Mason University Korea. The more time you invest in exploring majors and careers, the more informed you will be in deciding which careers to ultimately pursue. Please allow the CDC to help you achieve your career goals.

Helping students until they are Career-Ready,
