This course introduces students to essential environmental science principles and methods, focusing on ecosystem dynamics, human-environment interactions, and the impacts of resource use. Weekly lectures paired with problem sets encourage analytical thinking and practical application, while workshops and research activities support skill-building in scientific inquiry.

It teaches basic concepts in biological, chemical, physical, and earth sciences in integrated format with lecture, laboratory, and field exercises.
