Transcript and Certificates
The Office of the University Registrar maintains accurate and secure records for all students. These records are available to students from Patriot Web.
Degree certification is provided directly by the National Student Clearinghouse. George Mason University does not calculate class rank at the undergraduate or graduate level.
The standard enrollment verification is issued in English through the National Student Clearinghouse website.
Students can obtain their enrollment verification online 24/7 from anywhere.
- Log in to Patriot Web
- Select "Order Enrollment Verification"
- Log in to Myhub using Multifactor Authentication
- Once logged in, select "Self Service"
- Under the "Download an Enrollment Certificate" menu, "Select a school" and "Select a certificate type", then select "Download"
If you experience any issues with downloading using the method above, please contact verify@gmu.edu directly and include your G# and indicate that you are a Mason Korea student.
Mason Korea is a U.S. university, and the standard enrollment verification is issued in English. Korean certificates are issued only upon special requests from government agencies, such as the military reserve unit.
If you need a Korean certificate, please send an email to the Office of Academic Affairs at mkaa@gmu.edu with a clear explanation of your request and include your G#.
Processing may take 2–3 business days (excluding weekends), and longer during peak periods.
A George Mason University official transcript is a complete record of a student’s enrollment at Mason. Coursework earned through Continuing Education or the English Language Institute is not reflected on an official Mason transcript. Partial transcripts are not available. An official transcript will not be issued unless all financial obligations to the University have been satisfied. Official transcripts will not be faxed.
Please follow the steps below to order your official transcript.
- Log onto Patriot Web.
- Select "Student Records"
- Select "Order Official Transcript"
- Log in to Parchment with your Mason account.
- Select "Order Your Transcript"

Unofficial transcripts are available to currently-enrolled and former students at George Mason at no charge, and can be accessed through Patriot Web.
The unofficial transcript may be used to confirm such things as verification of degrees earned, enrollment and grades. It contains a comprehensive record of academic information including: coursework, grades, credit hours, grade point average, academic program information, transfer and test credit, instructor names, advisor names and degrees earned.
To print a copy of your unofficial transcript, follow these steps:
Current Students (or students with a Mason NetID and password) may get their unofficial transcripts by following the steps below:
- Go to Patriot Web and log in with your Mason account.
- Click “Open Student Dashboard”
- From the menu on the left, select “View Unofficial Transcript”
- For Transcript Level, choose “Undergraduate”
- For Transcript Type, select “Unofficial Transcript,” then click Submit.
Former students and alumni who do not have an active NetID and password, please visit the IT Services website Setting up your Patriot Pass Account in order to gain access to Patriot Web.
Note: Mason does not provide unofficial transcripts by mail or fax.
