Requesting a Fairfax-Based Asynchronous Course

A Mason Korea “K” section is created from a Fairfax asynchronous course based on the following criteria.

Eligibility

Fairfax study abroad students who require a course needed for graduation or to fulfill the requirements for their major with no alternative in-person options at Mason Korea will be eligible to request one Fairfax-based asynchronous course. Requests to take a Fairfax-based asynchronous course will only be considered once the student has been accepted into the program and will only be available during the fall semester. The student’s academic advisor must confirm in writing that the student has satisfied the eligibility requirements.

Processing time

The request may take a minimum of 3-4 weeks to be processed as there are multiple levels of approval needed to complete this request. The approval of the asynchronous course request is not guaranteed.

Deadline

Fairfax-based online course requests will not be considered after June 30th.
