When you're working on assignments, it can sometimes be hard to spot those small errors, but that's where I can help. At the ARC, I’ll be your supportive reader, giving feedback from the perspective of the audience you want to engage with.

Hello, my name is Minjae Shin, and I am excited to join the ARC as an English writing and communication tutor for Fall 2025.
I am currently a sophomore majoring in Business. In the past, I have had the opportunity to teach English and academic skills to international students, which helped me develop a deeper understanding of the challenges many students face when studying in a second language. I look forward to supporting students in improving their writing and communication skills and helping them feel more confident in their academic journey.

Hello, everyone! I'm Yerang Kim, majoring in Computer Game Design. I completed the PPP curriculum while majoring in Business during my first year, and changed my major to Computer Game Design. Now, I am a Junior first semester, and I became an English writing and communication tutor at the ARC. I believe there are many students who have a similar experience to mine. Hello! My name is Maya McHarg, and I’m an Economics Consultant at the Academic Resource Center. I’m currently pursuing my B.A. in Economics at George Mason University Korea, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA and have a strong interest in global development and governance. My professional experience includes research on democracy and human rights with USAID in Cambodia, as well as community engagement work with the U.S. State Department.
Even though my primary role is to support you with Economics, I’m also available to assist with English essay writing and communication, as I’m qualified to work with you in these areas as well.
