Sojourn Expiration Check

It is important for D-2 students to be aware of the date when their stay periods in Korea expire. Students either need to leave Korea or extend their stay periods before the expiration date. Students can check the expiration date on the online immigration portal.

To check your date, follow the instructions below. 

  1. Go to https://www.hikorea.go.kr/  
  2. On the bottom are of the front page, click on Expiry Date Check

  3. Fill out the required fields: your passport number, nationality, and date of birth.

  4. The date will show up on the screen.
