Visa after Graduation

If an international student who graduated from Mason Korea wishes to seek employment opportunities in Korea, the student can apply for a Change of Visa Status to D-10 (employment seeking status).

Minimum 6 months to maximum 2 years of stay period may be granted. Students are expected to eventually obtain E1 – E7 status after the D-10 visa period.

Eligibility

Eligibility to apply for a D-10 visa is determined by the following point system. Students must have 60 or higher points from Core and Non-Core Criteria combined. If you have a record of violation of the immigration law, the application may be denied regardless of this point system.

Core Criteria

Students must have 20 or higher points from core criteria. A student with less than 20 points from the core criteria is not eligible to apply for a D-10 visa. Students can earn a maximum of 50 points from core criteria.
