Fairfax Patriot Access Scholarship

At Mason Korea, we understand the importance of easing students' financial burdens and ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we offer this scholarship to individuals with financial need. This Fairfax Patriot Access Scholarship complements the MK Patriot Access Scholarship, which provides additional need-based financial support to students studying at Mason's Korea campus.

Through this scholarship, Mason Korea direct admit students transitioning to Fairfax or other Mason US campuses will receive additional financial support for two semesters while they study at Mason in the US. 

 

Scholarship Award

Students transitioning to the Fairfax campus for their required semesters will receive $3,000 per semester for two semesters.

Please note that students who extend their stay at the Fairfax campus beyond the required two semesters are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements for Application

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Approved by Academic Affairs to transition to the Fairfax Campus for their two semesters
  • Have been admitted to Mason Korea
  • Demonstrate evidence of a financial need
  • Be in good academic standing, information on the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy at GMU, visit:  Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy
  • Have a Mason student ID (G#) and email address
  • Be free from any administrative holds
  • Have approval on Fairfax transition application (click HERE to know more about applying for Fairfax transition)
