George Mason University’s Korea campus offers the Entrance Scholarship exclusively to incoming undergraduate freshman and transfer students. Resident Advisors Program
The Resident Advisor is a live-in paraprofessional staff member responsible for cultivating a safe and inclusive community experience for all George Mason University Korea students occupying Incheon Global Campus Housing during the academic year. Each Resident Advisor will be assigned to manage her or his respective housing floor. To reward service in the Resident Advisors Program, we provide a stipend each semester to contributing continuing students.
“Chingu” in Korean means “friend” in English. To help international students transition to life in Songdo and George Mason University Korea, the Chingu Program connects new international students with continuing students. This helps provide each new international student with a friendly face, helping hand, and their first Songdo friendship, which may make a world of difference to a new student. To reward service in the Chingu Program, we provide tuition assistance each semester to contributing continuing students.
Stay Mason Student Support Fund
The Stay Mason Student Support Fund assists matriculated George Mason students who are at risk of not continuing their education due to unexpected financial situations. The fund is for all students – undergraduate or graduate, full-time or part-time – enrolled in degree-seeking programs. The Stay Mason Student Support Fund is designed to provide temporary, short-term, financial assistance to students who are managing demanding academic requirements while struggling with debilitating financial circumstances. The Stay Mason Student Support Fund is not intended to provide ongoing relief for recurring expenses, and the financial assistance is not a loan that is expected to be repaid.
